The two people cuddling on the sofa shifted in the early morning. For a time in the early morning light, Ye Aotian studied the sleeping guy next to her, before getting up and leaving to use the restroom.
Tao Ran turned over on the sofa, opened his eyes, and peered towards the bathroom after a time, knowing she didn't scream or leave, so he fell asleep again.
When Tao Ran awoke, the sun had already risen. He rolled over and saw Ye Aotian seated at the dining table. Unsure of what to do, Tao Ran shifted and the blanket covering him slipped to his waist. Noticing him, Ye Aotian murmured "Are you awake? Take a bath now."
Tao Ran sat up and looked at Ye Aotian with some embarrassment: "Are you peeling beans?"
"I want to eat fried green beans."
I'll cook it for you once I get out of the shower. Tao Ran headed to the bathroom while covered in a blanket.
Ye Aotian blinked and stated, "Why are you hiding it? You have an excellent physique. I don't see you going to the gym, so how do you keep such a trim figure? You have no fat around your waist."
Tao Ran twitched the corners of his mouth and remarked, "Perhaps it's because of my talent, I’m going to take a shower."
Ye Aotian stood there watching Tao Ran enter the restroom, remembering how she felt when she woke up in the morning. Although there was a pain in her body that she had never felt before, the depression in her heart dissipated a lot. Her body was in intimate touch with the other person's skin, and she had her hand on the man's waist. The man had a slender, but extraordinarily powerful waist.
She had no idea someone's waist could be this thin, because even a skinny woman's waist is somewhat plump. However, Tao Ran's waist, which was engorged with powerful muscles, was devoid of any visible fat, nonetheless. Just now, she had leaned into Tao Ran's arms and briefly caressed them before he stood up to take a shower.

Tao Ran's voice sounded from the restroom at this point, asking, "Can you help me get some clothes and towels?"
"Where is it?"
"In the cupboard of my room."

He got dressed and went outside.Ye Aotian had already peeled the beans so he said, "Do you want to come in and have a look? Green beans are fairly simple to cook."
Ye Aotian followed him into the kitchen while saying, "I've already cooked thin porridge, we can drink thin porridge and eat fried green beans later."
Tao Ran was a little surprised and said, "You know how to cook porridge?"
"What's the big deal about this? Isn't there a specific setting for making porridge", Ye Aotian said while pointing at the rice cooker.
Well, Tao Ran had nothing to say.
After he cooked the beans, the two of them ate together, and Tao Ran felt that he thought too much. He thought that Ye Aotian would be sad or shy and embarrassed today, but Ye Aotian was much calmer than him. She even had the leisure to tease him. He drank a bowl of porridge, and Ye Aotian said, "These beans are so delicious, I can eat another bowl."
Tao Ran watched as Ye Aotian stood up and walked towards the kitchen, after walking two steps Ye Aotian stopped and turned back and said, "Do you want to have a bowl too?"
"Uh... ok, thanks."
The morning news was then being shown on TV while the two began to eat together.

Tao Ran was curious about Ye Aotian's reaction, but Ye Aotian remained silent. She just suddenly said: "Speaking of which, I have to thank that killer, without him I guess I wouldn't have been able to come back."
Tao Ran bowed his head in embarrassment and said, "Was it that dangerous?"
"Yeah." Ye Aotian said, "Fortunately, I know some fighting and self-defense tactics so we're able to gather here. Otherwise you'd have to go and collect my body today."
Tao Ran held the porcelain bowl in both hands for some time and said, "What do you think about what happened last night?"
Ye Aotian looked up with a bewildered face and said, "What thoughts?"
"We did something intimate that ordinary friends would never do. Isn't it time to redefine our relationship a bit?"
Ye Aotian nodded and said, "Oh, I understand."
Tao Ran saw that her attitude was not right, shouldn't she really just want to sleep for one night and run away?

Ye Aotian stood up and started to clean up the table. After she finished washing the dishes, she saw he still didn’t mean to open the door. Ye Aotian started knocking on the door, "We haven't finished talking yet. Can you come out?"
"Your buddy has no obligation to chat with you." Tao Ran's voice came from inside.
Ye Aotian couldn't help laughing, she said, "I haven't allowed you to be my friend, you can't call yourself my friend."
"Your boss is not obligated to chat with you!"
Is this making a fuss? In Ye Aotian's life, some people pleased her, some people hated her, some people framed her, but no one has ever made trouble with her. She helplessly stood outside the door and said, "Sir, how old are you? Can you be more mature?"
