A van, printed with animal protection slogans, drove out of Wuming City in the dead of night, heading for the provincial capital adjacent to Wuming City.
The conditions at the Wuming City Zoo were quite limited, and this arctic fox was a Class II protected animal. After discussion, the local Wildlife Conservation Association decided to transfer it overnight to a place with a better living environment.
“Who knows which smuggler brought this fox to Wuming, thankfully, it met kind-hearted people, otherwise, its life would be miserable." One staff member said to his colleague, glancing at the fox restlessly pacing in its cage. "But this fox has quite the temper."
