Nie Qingzhou's essay writing experience sharing session took place in the lecture hall on Thursday afternoon. Class 13 attended in full force, led by their class teacher. Zhang Zihua taught Chinese to three classes, and thanks to his enthusiastic promotion, many students from these classes came as well. Along with students from other classes who came out of curiosity, the lecture hall was three-quarters full.
Nie Qingzhou looked at the huge crowd—many with homework spread out or comic books tucked inside textbooks—and thought that everyone's arrangements were quite full.
As he glanced down, his eyes fell upon Xia Yi, seated in the middle of the front row. She rested her chin in her hands, watching him quietly and intently.
