The bear's roar disturbed birds and other small animals in the forest.
Xie Ru Zhuo couldn't help but to turn around when she heard the sound. When her gaze landed on the adult-sized black bear, she froze in fright. Where did this black bear come from?
Xiao Jun Xi felt that the person next him was standing still instead of running away. He turned his head to look at her, only to realize her eyes widened in horror, making him unable to help but look over, his eyes narrowed when he saw a black bear.
For the purpose of royal hunting events, all large animals in the woods have been driven away to protect the royal family, who would have thought they would encounter an adult black bear!
Xiao Jun Xi then realized the bear was injured when he saw an arrow sticking out of the bear's abdomen. The bear becomes extremely aggressive due to its injuries, and the instinct to protect itself making the bear freakishly bloodthirsty.

Xie Ru Zhuo looked at the black bear that was slowly walking towards them, she immediately returned to her senses and nervously shouted: "Let's run! This black bear is crazy, it will kill us!"
Xiao Jun Xi anxiously nodded his head.
However, it's too late for them to run away now!
Sensing both Xie Ru Zhuo and Xiao Jun Xi was about to run away, the black bear growled and increased its speed.
Both of them were sweating profusely as the heavy footsteps of the black bear gradually got closer and closer behind them.
"Be careful!" Xiao Jun Xi instantly pushed Xie Ru Zhuo to the ground when he sensed something was behind them.
The bear paw grazed the air where she was standing moments ago. If he hadn't pushed her away, she would have been mauled by the bear.
The bear became frustrated due to its failure to attack her. The bear then changed it's target to Xiao Jun Xi and raised his paws toward him.
He managed to dodge the attack at the very last moment, the bear's rage hit the roof due to his failure to attack both of them. The bear roared toward the sky, then fixed his murderous eyes on Xiao Jun Xi.
"No! Xiao Jun Xi, leave now!" Xie Ru Zhuo yelled at him when she realized the bear's increasingly violent behaviour towards him.
In the process of evading the bear paws from slashing him, he accidentally fell on the ground. The fall caused him to be extremely embarrassed. Looking at the bear in front of him, he pondered if this is the way he will die? No! He will not give up!
Xiao Jun Xi saw the bear slowly raising its feet, he realized the bear wanted to trample him to his death, he immediately turned over to avoid the attack.
Xie Ru Zhuo is fully aware of the danger Xiao Jun Xi is in, based on the situation he might not be able to escape from the bear attack, if the bear steps on him, he will be killed.
Xie Ru Zhuo looked around her and her eyes immediately brightened when saw the arrow that was used to assassinate Xiao Jun Xi just now. Suddenly an idea popped in her mind. Well, since she can't escape, let's give it a try!
Xie Ru Zhuo used all of her strength to pull the sharp arrow stuck on the ground, she then silently sneaked behind the bear with the arrow in her hands. She hopped onto the bear's back and stabbed the arrow to the bear's eye. It all happened in a blink of an eye, the bear did not foresee her action, and thus unable to avoid her attack.
Xiao Jun Xi was dumbfounded when he saw Xie Ru Zhuo's fierce action. Isn't she the type of lady who is raised to be an obedient girl? Oh my God! She is the definition of a brave woman, compared to those who fainted once they saw a bear, she is far more admirable!
Xiao Jun Xi looked at Xie Ru Zhuo with full admiration, but when he saw Xie Ru Zhuo slammed by the black bear he immediately got up and ran towards her concernedly.
"Are you okay?" Xiao Jun Xi anxiously helped Xie Ru Zhuo to stand.
Xie Ru Zhuo moaned in pain, she uncomfortably said: "It hurts... It hurts..."
Xiao Jun Xi helplessly replied her: "Why are you so stupid! You even dared to jump on the bear's back like it is normal to do so!"
Xie Ru Zhuo has no energy left in her body to reply after being reprimanded by him. At this moment, the black bear used its hands to cover his bleeding eyes and roared loudly. It didn't take long before the bears dropped down and remained motionless.
